Nice pics…I look the look and feel of them. Gives it that old vintage sort of look…brings the pics to life in a different way
God, I wish they had apps like this for BlackBerry…

The title with the result being pictures shot in a moving vehicle was well done. Curious…are the pictures actually dated from 1980?

SO cool! Love the “rays” in the sky of the first pic … this is such an incredibly fun app.
Thank you for posting — and congrats on being Freshly Pressed!

nice shots! I do the exact same thing with mine pretty much every day and post them fairly frequently.
you have a good eye. I enjoy the one with the power lines; all the elements of the photo came together nicely.
also, try shooting cars while driving at night/early morning. fascinating lights and textures.

December 8, 2010 at 10:26 am
These are seriously cool shots! I love it how you can create something so impressive from something so “mundane” as a drive to work. Fabulous!

I love the Hipstamatic app! I shoot professionlly, but I still love to pull out the iPhone and use the assortment of films and lenses the Hipstamatic has to offer. Great fun and creatively inspirational as your samples demonstrate here.

This might be out of no where, but I’ve had a blog that I was trying to post a photo a day from my iphone, and i’ve come across so many problems with it.
With this set did you email yourself all the photos and then post them on this blog once you were on an actual computer or did you post them from your iphone, and if you did do that, what avenue did you use to do so?
Sorry for the random! Great post though and congrats being pressed! Love the pics.
December 8, 2010 at 3:13 pm
Very nice, enjoyed! Congrats on being Freshly Pressed!

Love these because of the effect you used. The last two are my favorite. I have done something like this on some of my images using Photoshop. I like the effect of making new pics look old and the “scratchy, colorcast” look you can give them. You can see the ones I did here, http://rtcrita.wordpress.com/2010/08/29/my-train-obsession/ toward the end of the post images.
Thanks for sharing! I’ll be checking back again.

The way to do it through the iPhone app is as follows: open WordPress app, start new post, click on media and insert what photo/s you’d like, click on the write button. The app should have auto inserted the photo into your new post. It will show up as HTML code. Then just finish up your post and publish.
